Welcoming Shabbat

It is always a pleasure to welcome the Shabbat with Ruach Shalom. Prepping soup and tasty dishes to be shared is a joy. This past Shabbat was unique in that Bob Newmark celebrated his 78 birthday with us and that I prepared Parashat Vayigash for the service. Parashat Vayigash describes a coincidence of meetings with Joseph in Egypt with his brothers who years before had connived to betray him in a cave of sorts.
How appropriate to remember the hostages and pray for reconciliation between Israelis and Palestinians together!
And how special it is to see how our potluck Shabbes dinner unfolds before our eyes and tummies.
Thankful for an inspiring service led on line by Shulamit, hoping that Lior will feel better soon, and happy to welcome Beverly, Tom, Nienke, Dan and Bob into my home.
Wishing Esther and Haim good health, Shulamit, Barteline and the rest of us long life in health, with love BEYACHAD.
May we continue to meet and greet each other for many blessings to come.
